Welcome to my evil, obsessive world... right now this page focuses mainly on the sim games aimed at females, with few notable exceptions... so be warned ^_^;  Also, right now, my information on where to purchase the games is based primarily on places that definitely guarantee that they are there and available... as soon as I get done with some of my personal special order research(I'm trying to buy some games, and am waiting till I get them all, so I can actually review how the sites handled it ^^), I will add links to places that you can special order computer/video games at ^_^  BTW, if you know of another game that you think I should try to find and include in this list, feel free to tell me ^^
Princess Maker:

Now, this has got to be one of the most popular simulation games of the bunch ^_^
It was published by Gainax, and is available in many many forms.
For much more in-depth information than *I* could possibly give you on many of the game, check out these sites:

Nuriko's Princess Maker Nexus
Serpent's Princess Maker 3 fan page
Tomorrow's Princess Maker Gateway

In the section to the side, I will try to give a little information on some of the games of the series as well as how to get them.  (I'm putting all the information I acquired while searching for Angelique games to good use :P)

Princess Maker 2
Getting it:
This game is by far the easiest to find :P
You can download it in English for free (from Nuriko's... just look for the download-page link).  That is the DOS version(BTW, has anyone gotten the sound to work with that one?) ^_^
Additionally, you can buy the Chinese version for Windows 95/98 from YesAsia.com.
Furthermore, I *think* I found where you can purchase the Japanese Windows version.  It is a Japanese site, and I haven't really investigated it thoroughly, but it seems like it could be one of those paid-download things, meaning shipping would not be a problem ^^
I also found it selling for PC-Engine on NCS. And, lastly, if you have a Sega Saturn and feel like wasting some money on a game you can get for free, it's available at Chips&Bits. (Direct link to shopping cart here... they don't have information pages... :/)

Random thoughts on the game:
My favorite ending in this game is the one with Cube... heck, it's definitely a more impressive *looking* ending than the prince even :P  Unfortunately, they took out that cute aspect in the SNES Princess Maker(which in most other ways is a carbon copy of this one :P)

Princess Maker: Legend of Another World
Getting it:
Find a SNES rom site that has it, then download it :P  Sometimes it's listed under just "Legend of Another World", so check both...

Random thoughts on the game:
I was totally surprised at how much like 2 this one was ^^;  I found that by comparing the dialogue in my English 2 and this, that I could reinforce my Japanese skills somewhat, though ^^;  Anyway, it's kinda neat to play though ^_^

Princess Maker 3
Getting it:
This game is a bit harder to locate than 2.  I found it, myself(the Playstation version, at least), in an e-bay auction a while ago.  You can buy the Chinese version for Windows 95/98 from YesAsia.com, like Princess Maker 2.  That's the only definite place that I know of right now ^^
It actually shouldn't be too hard to play in Chinese, since there is extensive information on the workings of this game.
NCS has this game listed for Saturn... but they seem to be sold out at the moment.

Random thoughts on the game:
I like this game better than in predecessor in the way it plays.  Getting the prince is no longer just talking to him while he is disguised :P  You actually have to work hard to get his attention.  This game would be *perfect* if the girl could just marry Cube... ^^;

Princess Maker Q
Getting it:
I haven't played this game, and I haven't bought it yet either ^^;  I was *going* to buy the Korean version from AngelPop, but it's sold out now... You can still buy the Chinese version for Windows 95/98 from YesAsia.com, but I, personally, am unsure about buying *that* one since I know near-no Chinese (Whereas, I at least have a Korean dictionary and know how their alphabet works ^^;)  And, since there is not as much information on-line, and it appears to be a different game format, I fear it *may* be unplayable for me if I didn't at least have a rough understanding of the language :/

Random thoughts on the game:
I've never played this game, but AngelPop seems to say that it is not really a simulation game, but a game where you take the role of the Princess to save the world...

Princess Maker Pocket Daisakusen
Getting it:
Ah... finally, a nice, simple one to get.  Just buy it over at NCS.

Random thoughts on the game:
I haven't played this game yet.  It's not really supposed to be like the other Princess Makers... it's supposed to a be a puzzle game ^^;  Anyway, the only reason I haven't bought it is because my little sister keeps saying she wants to buy it, and I would really like that and all, so I could spend money on other things, but she hasn't yet actually *purchased* it.

Princess Maker: Go! Go! Princess!
Getting it:
Ermm.... here's a really hard one.  I found this one on e-bay, and *that* was just a HK silver version ^_^;

Random thoughts on the game:
I really like this game... (actually, my little sister stole it from me, so I can't play it any more :P , but...)  It's cute, and though it is set up like a board game, it still includes many simulation elements.  It also has a neat photo gallery ^_^ Photo galleries are obsessive... I mean, I keep playing Harukanaru because I want to get *every* picture in that gallery ^^;  Princess Maker 3 for Windows is supposed to have a gallery, I believe... but the Playstation version does not.

Fantastic Fortune
Getting it:
I special ordered it from ThePlace ^^;  It's for Windows, by the way.

Random thoughts on the game:
I have not received the game yet  -_-;
Actually, the only reason I'm buying this game is because Shimon's seiyuu has a part in it ^^;  (Can you say "obsessive"?  I knew you could!)

Fantastic Fortune:

I do not know much about this game, having never played it, but it looks quite interesting.  It was originally published by Fujitsu, but has been re-released(and is much cheaper) by Cyberfront.
Here is the Japanese site for it.

Angelique:

This is another really cute-looking Love-simulation by Koei ^^  [They made Harukanaru]  Not having the game yet, I really can't give you too much information, but please check out this *amazing* page on it:
Marfisa's Angelique
...And here is the Official Japanese site.

I'm sorry that my links can't be much more helpful in getting these games, but after all my searching and searching and searching, I never found them readily available anywhere... I've had to special order these ^^;
Here is the Catalog numbers and prices in yen for all the current Angelique games. ^^ (Information that's very often helpful when special ordering :P)

(BTW, when I finally get these and play them, this game may warrant it's own page like with Harukanaru ^_^)

Angelique Special 1
Getting it:
Chips & Bits has the Playstation version listed for $42.99 right now...
(Here is the direct link to add it to your shopping cart.)

Random thoughts on the game:
This game is supposed to be the same game as Angelique Duet, but not as advanced... *HOWEVER*, it's hard to beat the fact that you would not have to worry about special orders, etc. in order to get this game.

Fushigi no Kuni no Angelique
Getting it:
I had to Special Order the Playstation version of this one from ThePlace.
BTW, it's been re-released so you may wish to specify "Koei the Best Series", if you want to special order it.

Random thoughts on the game:
I have not received the game yet  -_-;
It's supposed to be set up like a board game... which sounds really cool... if it's anything like Go! Go! Princess, I'll probably enjoy it ^_^

Angelique Special 2
Getting it:
I had to Special Order the Playstation version of this one from FromNippon.com.  If you want to Special Order it, you may wish to specify "Koei the Best".... that's the Playstation version re-release.
There is also a Windows version.... but that's more expensive and not any easier to find :P
Alternatively, if you have a PC-FX, you can apparently buy it here.... *very* expensive though @_@;

Random thoughts on the game:
I have not received the game yet  -_-;
But, Mel seems cool ^_^  The appeal this game holds for me is that there are *3* guys who are way to young for me(Harukanaru only has 2 :P)... and Mel(15) can apparently be either gender when he/she grows up... and that's just *cool*.  I'm assuming that if you fall in love with him, he'll become a guy... but, that's still just cool... ^^;

Angelique Duet
Getting it:
I had to Special Order the Playstation version of this one from FromNippon.com.  If you want to Special Order it, you may wish to specify "Koei the Best".... that's the Playstation version re-release.

Random thoughts on the game:
I have not received the game yet  -_-;
This game is supposed to have a photo album *laughs maniacally*--- I'll end up playing this game a lot, I'm sure ^_^

Angelique Tenkuu no Requiem
Getting it:
I found one site that has it, but it's very expensive :/  I recommend you just Special Order it at one of the places above if you want it ^^;

Random thoughts on the game:
I want to play this game -_-;
This one is set up more like an RPG, but still has Sim elements, like the guardians will help you in battle more if they like you, etc. :P

Angelique Trois
Getting it:
You'll have to special order it somewhere... it comes out November 22nd, btw...
This one is for the Playstation 2, and though I'm going to buy it, since it's Angelique, I honestly don't like the character designs as much ^^;

Random thoughts on the game:
I *really* want to play this game... -_-;;;;;;;;;;

Sweet Ange
Getting it:
Not any easier than the rest ^^;

Random thoughts on the game:
This one is for Gameboy and is supposed to be set up like a board game... and it looks really *cute* ^_^

SNES Angelique
Getting it:
This one is somewhat easy at least :P  Find the ROM and download it!  There is actually a translation project, and *they* tell you where to get the rom ^_^

Random thoughts on the game:
I haven't played too much... half of the reason I wanted the games was for the cool speech and animation that I enjoyed in Harukanaru... so, without the speech, I would rather just play through Harukanaru again ^^;

"stuff"
Getting it:
Book-Mart has cheap used copies of mangas, sound dramas, etc.  You can also go to CDJAPAN for some of the sound tracks, sound dramas, etc.

Random thoughts on the game:
This isn't a game, silly :P

Project V6
Getting it:
Just hop on over to NCS and purchase it :P

Random thoughts on the game:
I have not bought this game yet... but it's one that I want to get in the future.  I'm guessing that it features the real V6 group... but I could be wrong ^^;

Project V6:

Another game that I'm interested in, but have yet to play.  I found it listed on this site.
It seems to be a game where you lead male idols to stardom...  but, I'm *guessing* that there can be romance involved as well, since the site seemed to focus mainly on those types of games.

Graduation M:

An insane little mystery-adventure game where you can fall in love with your sleuthing partner.  You get a mysterious call from your brother(who goes to an all-boy school :P I really ~wonder~ about Oniisama... I'm sure you will too if you play it ^^;), asking for you to save him!  When you go there, you are approached by the guy who was rated most compatible to you... and your adventure begins...
Erm... here's a Japanese site about it: ^^;
Sotsugyou M

I believe there is also supposed to be an anime based on this... ^^

Graduation M
Getting it:
Just merrily skip on over to NCS and purchase it :P

Random thoughts on the game:
Hehehe... I love this game... it's so insane... unfortunately it lacks a photo album/image gallery, so I don't play it as much...  But, it's really fun, has cute music sung to you by the guy you choose at the end, and *every* line is voice-overed(except for the Heroine, that is...).  So, it's really good when you are trying to learn how to pronounce your Kanji ^^

Utena
Getting it:
I don't know... It's for Saturn and I heard it's out of print... Good Luck!

Random thoughts on the game:
I haven't played this game... it looks interesting though...

Shoujo Kakumei Utena:

A game for Sega Saturn... never played it... but it looks interesting...
Here is the Japanese site... you can look at the pictures and stuff ^_^;

e'lan:

A "communications sim" by Visco...  I really don't know much about it besides it's listing on that one Japanese site.
The Japanese e'lan site is here.
There is also some more specific "e'lan Plus" information here.

e'lan
Getting it:
I really don't know... I'm going to try to special order when I get more money...

Random thoughts on the game:
I want to play this game :/
It has a 14-year-old boy... I mean, doesn't that just make it perfect? (^_^;)

Arabian(?) Otome --- this is the listing at NCS
Getting it:
If you have a PC-FX you can buy it over at NCS.  I don't unfortunately.  There is also supposed to be a Playstation version(as listed here), but I have not found it.

Random thoughts on the game:
I want to play this game -_-;

Arubarea no Otome:

I do not know much about this game, having never played it, but it looks quite interesting.  Perhaps after I get my Angelique games(and perhaps a few other dating sims :P), I could try to get it.
I believe this game was published by a company called "Messiah"...
Anyway, I found this game on a Japanese page with a list of Simulation games that were from a female perspective.
Here is a Japanese Web-site on it ^_^

Suna no Embrace (Embrace in the Sand):

An RPG where you can have romance as well... sounds fun. ^_^  I have yet to play this game, but it's one that is on my long list of relationship-games that I want.
The Japanese company's site is here, for your reading pleasure.

Suna no Embrace
Getting it:
Bleah... special order it somewhere :P  That's what I'm gonna do... as soon as I get more money...

Random thoughts on the game:
I romance SLG/RPG... sounds cute ^^;

Free games of this genre...

Okay, I'm sure your now entirely depressed after looking at all the games that you are unable to get, etc...  Well, it's all okay!  Because there are some Japanese shareware games that you can download! ^_^ Yay!   I'll try to add more as I find them and get them to work ^^;

Vector.co.jp's Simulation Section

Here are some that I've tried and work fairly okay:

Crystal Heart 1
Ermm... it's a shounen-ai game... to warn you from the start ^^;  But, it's kinda cute.  The only problem is that some sections of conversation text appear as just question marks...

Crystal Heart 2
Improved graphics over it's predecessor... but it's only shareware.  In this one, the conversation text appears fine, but some other things still show all question marks (normally the questions as to where to go).

CarloCake
Another shounen-ai one... same author ^^;

GetGo
Another shounen-ai one... same author again... ^^;

Human
Raise a little guy on your computer ^^;

Idol Maker
Raise an idol into stardom... there may be some romance... I don't know ^^;

BOYS
This one requires ComicPlayer to run... ermm... it's another Shounen-ai one ^^;  Really pretty graphics!

My, this turned  out to be much longer than I expected, and there are still many more games I haven't even touched ^^;
